Are my files kept private and private
+
Uploaded files are processed on our own conversion servers, nobody looks at them, and they are not shared. The upload and the converted file are both deleted automatically about 24 hours after the conversion, which leaves time to download the result. See /privacy/ for the full policy.
What if my retrieve doesn't start
+
If your retrieve doesn't start by itself, try clicking the download button again. Make sure pop-ups are not blocked, and check your browser's download folder. You can also right-click the download link and highlight 'Save As'.
Will the resolution be preserved

It depends on the formats. A lossless target such as PNG, WAV or FLAC keeps what the source holds; a lossy target such as JPG, MP3 or MP4 is usually re-encoded, which trades some detail for a smaller file.
Do I need to create an subscription
+
No account is required for basic usage. You can process files immediately. Creating a free account gives you access to your conversion history and additional features.
